Borned in Taichung, Taiwan, he once studied at the Department of Chinese Literature at National Chengchi University, and later studied at the Fotosoft Institute of Visual Art. Currently working as a director, cinematographer, and colorist. He mainly creates fiction films, documentaries, and still photography, etc., and continues to explore the boundaries and functions of images.
