Synopsis
The little mayor election has started. Unexpectedly, Jiaen is elected as the class candidate and must lead the campaign team to participate in the election. There were many hesitations, disagreements, and even emotional storms, from competition and adjustment to cooperation. Jiaen often finds it difficult to make decisions; life can sometimes be like a multiple-choice question: what choices would Jiaen make?
Director Statement
"CampaignDiary" is a documentary that is highly suitable for young viewers and is included in the "Whisper" series of documentary shorts. It documents the process of democratic elections in a school, capturing the emergence of children's democratic concepts and the thought process behind each decision. Through this film, we can witness how children in Taiwan understand democratic politics and their perception of the relationship between individuals and the collective.
