Island X Pictures was founded in 2022. Projects in production include A Woman Builds by HUANG Ji and OTSUKA Ryuji, three documentary shorts commissioned by PTS and directed by WU Fan, HSU Ya-Ting and HUANG Linghwa. The company's projects have been selected for the Taipei Golden Horse FPP, HAF and Berlinale Co-Production Market.
