Ming-Jung Kuo worked as Programme Director for Taipei Film Festival (2014-2018), carried a balance of showcasing new talent and introducing VR programs. She also launched the Produire au Sud Taipei in 2015. She joined the Singapore International Film Festival in 2019 as Artistic Director. Between 2019 and 2021, she was on the selection committee for the Locarno Festival Open Doors. She has also been extensively involved in the selection of projects for Taiwanese and SE Asian script development and regional funding schemes. She is the consultant for Cannes Directors’ Fortnight since 2022. In 2022 she founded Island X Pictures to step into film production. She is an alumni of Rotterdam Lab and Talent Tokyo.
