Yu-Chi He graduated from the Graduate Institute of Documentary and Film Archiving at the Tainan National University of the Arts, majoring in documentary production. In recent years, he has been investigating, studying, and recording the lives of workers, the homeless, and historical ghosts in Taiwan's coastal areas, outlying islands, and mountain and coastal tribes as an artist-in-residence. He thinks critically about the human-environment relationships through art creations.
