HSU has always been fascinated by the human race. Taking a documentary production course in college sparked his interest in documentary filmmaking. HSU hopes that through his lens, the ordinary people and their extraordinary lives can propel viewers to discover compassion, understanding, and curiosity for the multifaceted world around us. His latest work, The Catch, won the Grand Prize, Best Documentary and Best Cinematography of Taipei Film Awards in 2021.
