CHOU Shang-ting holds a master’s degree from the Department of Radio, Television & Film of Shih Hsin University and has worked in the film industry for many years as a cinematographer, producer and editor. Films he has worked on have earned recognition at both domestic and international film festivals. He is the director of the acclaimed documentary short The Chrysalis, which details the construction of Taipei Dome. Ashes is his first documentary feature.
