His works have been selected for the New York New Filmmakers Festival, and have received the Platinum Remi Award at the Houston International Film Festival, the Special Honor Short Film at the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, the Jury Special Mention and Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film at the Taiwan Film Festival in Australia, as well as selections at the Kaohsiung Film Festival, Golden Harvest Awards, Taoyuan Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival (France), and the Rhode Island International Film Festival (USA). He has participated in numerous international co-productions in Taiwan and has collaborated with global media including BBC, NHK, and TVB.
