Synopsis
Wa-wa was my college classmate and we were in love. She dreamt about opening a shop at that time, so we returned to Guishan after graduation to fulfil her dream. I began to document the process with my camera. In the end, the dream was fulfilled and yet the dreamer was forever gone.
Director Statement
Olivia CHEN: 'Long time ago, I made three documentaries. After several screenings, I put these films in a dry box and stopped making films. Looking back on my time spent in TNNUA, all I recorded was everyday trivial things in Guoxi. I have left all the heaviness and cruelty outside of the camera. Over the past two years, I gradually realised why I was only interested in filming my days in Guoxi. My roommates at that time were all gone, but I stayed. While people come and go, Guoxi becomes my dream, my home, where I could never forget. This is a never-ending story, about people meeting each other and changing each other's lives ever after.'
