The 2026 Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) kicks off this week in Busan. Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute (TFAI), Taiwan Docs, is once again teaming up with Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) to present the Taiwan Documentary WIP Showcase, featuring three Taiwanese documentary projects at DOC Square!

All Things Passing and Coming — A group of elderly lives in a basement beneath the bustling city of Taipei. Amid poverty, aging, and death, this cramped, decaying space sustains a resilient flow of life.

Thunder and Rosy Clouds — Driven to confront a past she once concealed, a Taiwanese daughter films her mother’s journey back to Sichuan, China, unearthing the weight of cross-strait history within their shared silence.

The Tree Behind the Zigzag Sign — Two brothers arrested in different waves of the Hong Kong democratic movement embark on a journey to repair their bond. After the younger brother’s release, the family decides to emigrate, and the elder brother, who was left behind, reveals repeating cycles of fate and resistance through family videos.
