The 2025 Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) kicks off this week in Busan, debuting Doc Square, a new program dedicated to documentary creators across Asia. Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute (TFAI), Taiwan Docs, together with Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), is excited to bring four outstanding Taiwanese documentary projects on stage!

Da Ra Song — In a land where traditional slate houses are no longer built, Darasong tirelessly gathers stones, building his dream slate by slate.

Life Beside Itself — Through voices, fading archives, and poetic imagery, a generation confronts the unspoken Macau–Taiwan migration that marked their childhood.

Monologue in the Ruins — Piecing together the silent testimonies of objects and memories people left behind, the film uncovers hidden lives society chose to forget. 

Gravity, movement — An unruly body breaks its frame, pushing against the mainstream tide.

  

 

Taiwan Docs continues to cultivate strong ties with the global documentary community, actively promoting Taiwanese documentaries internationally and fostering talent development through diverse collaborations. Its  mission is to support local filmmakers in stepping onto the international stage, building networks, and engaging with the global industry.
