Flora Linghwa Huang is trained in anthropology and documentary in Taiwan, focusing on the daily practices of immigrants, women, memories, political bodies, and identities with a non-fictional approach. She founded a film production company, Autumn Film Production, in 2024 in Taipei with programmer Pony Ma. The team aims to approach marginalized stories of people who felt unseen and unheard in the region of East Asia and Southeast Asia. With the cinematic language and documentary methods, the team emphasizes the importance of everyday life and intimacy when we look into the practice of resistance. Huang is now based in Taipei, Taiwan.
