Yi-Chin was born in 1992 in Tainan, Taiwan. She graduated in 2023 from RE:ANIMA Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in animation, and 2014 from Radio and Television in National ChengChi University. Being a film director, animator and video artist, she focuses on finding ways to reflect her life experience and observations of the world. With the combination of experiments of the making process, under camera animation, mixed materials techniques and analog films, she creates abstract flowing visuals and explores the possibilities of expressing emotion in different means.
