HuiChieh Danielle Yen is an award-winning director, producer and actress who produced such films as "Your Name Engraved Herein" (2020), which received recognition at the Golden Horse Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Original Film Song, "A Trip with Your Wife" (2021), "Best Sisters Forever" (2021), and "The Yani Tseng Story" (2025), winner of ATF x BHP unscripted pitching event. The 2021 short film she produced entitled "Best Sisters Forever," and the short film she recently co-starred in titled "Tank Fairy" has won many independent film awards globally including the 2022 SXSW Midnight Short Audience Award and the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Tall Grass Film Festival. She made her directorial debut with the short film "Our Home," which was selected for the "Mini-Movie: Taiwanese Microfilm Creation" competition organized by the Taipei Film Commission. She has accumulated directing experience by shooting and producing various brand image commercials, including "Appier: 10th Anniversary" and "ViewSonic United by Play," which won Best Branding Campaign at The Drum Awards for Digital Advertising APAC and Most Effective Digital Media Strategy at The Drum Awards for Digital Industries 2022. In 2022, she created the feature film project "Working Holiday" based on her own experiences, successfully getting selected for the "Busan Asian Film School (AFiS)," "Kyoto Filmmakers Lab," and "Nantes Produire au Sud," establishing herself as a promising new director. Additionally, she directed the VR short animated film "Eisbär A Fantastical Journey" with BackLight Studio from France, which was selected for the 2024 New Images Festival XR Development Market.
