LAW Kar is a Macao-born senior film critic. Since the 1960s he has served as editor for publications such as The Chinese Student Weekly, Intellectuals and Theatre Quarterly, and made several experimental films. He later worked for Hong Kong International Film Festival and Hong Kong Film Archive. He is now retired and committed to documentary film production.
