Lana Lin is a Taiwanese American whose work has centered on cultural and linguistic translation, its problems and inadequacies. Her films and videos, including "No Power to Push Up the Sky", "Almost the Cocktail Hour", and "Stranger Baby", have shown internationally in festivals and museums.
