Born in 1987, based in Taipei, Taiwan. Jia-ling has over 10 years of experience in documentary production. In 2016, she released her first documentary feature film, "Searching for a Small Town Doctor,” and in 2022, she released a short documentary film, “Dreamtalk,” and "We cook at home on the days of lockdown.” She is currently a resident artist at Banqiao 435 Art Village, where she is exploring the boundaries of documentary and video art. Jia-Ling’s films focus on the feminine aspects of humanity, such as witchcraft, dreams, illness and death.
