Fruit CHAN is a Hong Kong film director and independent film producer. His Made in Hong Kong filmed in 1996 won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland, Hong Kong Film Award and The Golden Horse Award both for Best Director. CHAN continued to make independent films afterwards and has been nominated multiple times for Best Director and Best Screenplay by the Hong Kong Film Awards. My City is his first documentary film.
