CHEANG Shu-lea is an internationally acclaimed Taiwanese multimedia artist currently based in Paris. She obtained her MA in film studies from New York University in 1979. From a experimental filmmaker to a cybernomad, her works keep reflecting on politically charged subjects, including institutional power, the excesses of popular media, ethnic stereotyping and sexual politics.
