Synopsis
Led by Priya, an Indian woman who has lived in Taiwan for 40 years, this six-part documentary follows her journey through Taiwan and India. Through her perspective, the series weaves together the stories of Indian immigrants in Taiwan, showcasing cultural exchange and transformation.
Director Statement
Fostering mutual understanding between Taiwan and India is urgent and timely. Although India and Taiwan signed a migrant worker MOU in 2024, cultural understanding remains limited. As India’s global role grows and Taiwan deepens South Asia ties, this documentary captures authentic stories of Indians shaping Taiwan’s future—highlighting culture as resilient diplomacy and people-to-people bonds as the key to a more inclusive, connected Taiwan–India relationship.
