Synopsis
A bankrupt ex-convict, desperate to prove his worth, throws himself into relentless training, boxing day and night. Yet one by one, the people who care about him drift away. After leaving the youth shelter, a filmmaker lost in Christian faith picks up his camera to document a friend who has turned to Satanism. Their shared longing for redemption takes them on a tangled journey that tests their friendship and beliefs, ultimately leading them down entirely different paths.
Director Statement
This short film is like a prayer— a voice spoken with unease and vulnerability, uncertain of what it may bring after it ends. And yet, when you look back in frustration, you remember that, at the very least, you once truly believed.
