There are many "street barber stalls" below Hutoushan in Taoyuan, and they are typically run by women between the ages of 45 and 75. Most of these stalls serve senior citizens and working people, and have become a traditional, homespun part of ordinary people's lives. The stalls have only numbers, but no names. They are separated by mesh nets, but friendships and a feeling of warmth and humanity flow between them.
