Ocean FeverⅡ not only documents the process of young rockers struggling to participate in 2004 Ho-Hai-Yan Rock festival but also presents the inner essentials of rock n’ roll bands. Ocean FeverⅡ fallows three bands, one with great ambitions , disappointed at out of favor with jurors. One’s musical ideals were severely criticized when this band admit to the final round. And the other one, disbanded years ago, reunited on the stage in reason of the magic power of Ho-Hai-Yan Rock festival. Whether the frustrated rockers can stand on their dignity again in music? How the band evoked people’s common memory after its standpoint of rock is questioned. All struggles and imbroglios come from a huge stage that is set up on every July at the northeast beaches of Taiwan. After more thinking of rock music, Ocean Fever Ⅱ would like to express more complex attitudes and spirits in rock n’ roll.
