Synopsis
747 is an 8-year-old YAMAHA 50cc scooter. Its full name is "DNU-747", and he is all mine. This is a story about 747, me and time.
Taiwan has the highest density of motorbikes in the world. Whether in the city or countryside, the sight of motorbikes rushing by in flocks has become unique to Taiwan. The film starts with the distinctive motorbike experience from the viewpoint of 747. It is interspersed with fragmented imagery of petty junk like penalty records and old flyers, recorded on photo, ENG, and DV. Tracing a journey from 1996 to 2004, the film is a private chronicle that strikes a chord in every Taiwanese who has ever owned a motorbike.
