Synopsis

The 'It' in Love It More Than I Can Say refers to the toxic waste at the center of this film. The film sets out to document the story of the treatment of toxic waste illegally dumped on one of Taiwan Sugar Corporation's properties and the factory workers who 'clock on' every morning - blissfully unaware of the dangers of coming into contact with such potent toxic waste.

The director was persistently met with a wall of silence. In spite of his tenacity, no one from officialdom would speak on camera. He was repeatedly denied access to film on site, but like a fly that hovers around rubbish, he refused to give up on the story.

The hard work paid off. Through his relentless campaigning, one of the worst incidents of toxic waste pollution ever eventually came to the fore - with devastating repercussions.
