In the Lower Park market in Taofeng, Miaoli County, a newlywed couple ran a shoe store. It took them nearly half a century to find each other. Together they made a sweet home. However, getting up, running the store, buying food, cooking, taking care of customers, humming Hakka folk songs—such an ordinary daily routine is traded with Ms. Rui-lang Fu’s twenty years of awaiting.
