Synopsis
In Taiwan, boxing is a rare sport for any girl. This film documents boxer Kenny Chen participating in a world-class boxing competition. With her bare hands, this young woman of twenty-something exemplifies young people’s relentless efforts to go after their dreams. Besides documenting the experience of a young athlete, this film also inspires the youth to think about their future seriously.

Director Statement
" Boxing is not a mainstream sport in Taiwan and we want to change the public’s image about boxing via this film… well, after watched Hilary Swank’s Million Dollar Baby, we truly believe that such people exist in Taiwan. Before we know whether or not there is a sport called “boxing” in Taiwan, we started to look for woman boxers. Next we know, the film - Knockout - had its first debut. We just want to show people that there is a true story around us which is not known by the public and yet heart-stirring." - Jovi Lee
