The documentary probably offer a lively example that the globalization is a set of complex, process in which the roles of gender, inequalities. The economic growth of Taiwan doesn't really challenge the exiting patriarchal system, it transformed into different way, impose on the inequality on Southeast women, through objectifying as commodity in the marriage market.
