The Quest is a film produced by KMNP Headquarters to introduce and discuss about the culture of Kinmen emigrants overseas. Directed by the famed documentary director Peter Tang, this docudrama records the historical background of Kinment’s emigration trend, its process and socio-economic impacts while reflecting the overseas life of Kinmen emigrants, the positive and negative outcomes of their emigration, and the connections between these emigrants and their hometown kith and kin at Kinmen.
