Synopsis
In the year of 1996, a national weightlifter coach called A-Fu, founded a female teenager weightlifting team with three Bunun girls from the "Taoyuan Tribe". They're either orphaned or raised by a single parent or grandparents. Despite their success in weightlifting, they are confronted with the harsh reality of their family situations, career development and love lives.

Director Statement
In 2007, we met the weightlifting team of these teenage girls. We just wanted to record how they grew up and to see how these Taiwanese aboriginal girls dealt with their lives. When their coach learned that we were going to accompany these girls for a length of time, he didn't expect that it was all we wanted to do. He thought it would require a huge amount of patience and strength; besides what most people want to see is the short-lived victory, not the failures or the painful process that made it happen.
