Synopsis

This film tells the story of the Amei women who are forced to leave their homeland and move to Keelung to work because their husbands want to make more money. Wrestling under the circumstances of unstable jobs and high living expenses in the city, these poor women cooperate to search for materials to build their own houses, hoping to create a new homeland of their own. The hardships faced by the city aboriginals are revealed in the film.
