There is a little girl in Hengshan. Everybody says that she is just like a little boy, jumping up and down like a little monkey. She rides a bicycle and loves to go swimming. She climbs fences and catches worms. She lives happily and cares about nothing. The only thing that she is afraid of is to be asked by her teacher to wear skirts. (Ballad)

Hsiao Ting, a little girl who acts like a boy, is the main character of the story. Her behavior is unpredictable. She cares about nothing but the coming of Wednesday. Why? Let’s step into her secret garden to find out her undisclosed innocence.
