From Japan, Sara likes the Hula Dance, as well as carrying the Mikoshi with her family. In Congo, Vida lives in a shelter and earns a living by performing puppet shows on the street. In Finland, Inka wants to move in with her boyfriend while Tapio plans his life like an adult does. Thais and Jose are both from Brazil, except that she lives in a suburb slum and he comes from a posh urban community. Zi-yun and Guan-de in Taiwan have different concerns of life; she wishes to meet her favorite stars while he wonders if his mom is doing well.

Shot by the kids themselves, a five segment documentary brings the audiences into the lives of a group of teenagers from countries across the continents. Each in his / her 10-minute self-portrait, the youngsters share with us their ways of life and their relationships with their families and friends. Plus, an internationally-produced “Beyond the Camera” bonus material is included in this film.
