An 84-year-old Tibetan scholar who endured 21 years of torture in a Chinese prison traveled to India to rebuild a decimated Buddhist college with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, whom he believed to be his reincarnated master. Currently residing in Taiwan, Canadian filmmaker Anika Tokarchuk tells the story of an old Buddha with her original filmmaking style.
