"Chiao, Wan-Jan", the child hand puppet troupe was founded in 1988 at the Ping-Deng Primary School in Taipei. After having learned puppetry for more than three years and overcome the language barriers, Tu-Deng Yueh-

Sheng who came from Tibet has become the troupe's first female puppeteer. Yueh-Sheng expresses that it's good to learn the puppetry but she has mixed feelings about the hard work. Now, she is facing the growing pressure to give up the art as she is expected to concentrate on her academic studies.
