Synopsis
There’s a group of friends in Taichung who formed a band playing music. They write their own music, and they create musical scores for a living.Ah-tsang was known as the king drummer in Taichung among his musician friends. More than 10 years ago at a time when live bands were a fad, Ah-tsang left the entertainment business with all its fame and glory to venture on the difficult path of writing music. His face is now wrinkled, he has many stories to tell, and he is adept in almost any kind of musical instruments. Ah-tah is the lead singer of the band Armed Rebels from the Country. He envisions a world of justice and fairness, and writing music is a way to realize his vision. Two musicians from two different generations and having different styles, Ah-tsang and Ah-tah in the film are able to sing songs that are truly theirs. To them, what is music? Is it air that no one can live without? Is it that little space that frees the soul? Or is it a path of no return?
