Jerome WANG graduated from Kingston University, London, and the Department of Drama at the National Taiwan University of Arts. He is an independent documentary producer with a background in theatre and the performing arts. He later transitioned to filmmaking, focusing on social and cross cultural stories. His feature documentary The Extra’s Journey was released in cinemas in 2025 and won Best Feature Documentary at the Taipei International Labour Film Festival. He also co-produced a short film with NHK, which aired on the NHK World channel. WANG is currently based in Taiwan.
