HUANG Pang-chuan, born in 1988, holds a degree in graphic design from National Taichung University of Science and Technology, and another in cinema and audiovisual from Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle. HUANG started in graphic design and photography, and then turned to cinema and video-installation. His works focus on the relationship between material and image, and the ambiguity between documentary and fiction. HUANG currently lives and works in France, splitting time between Paris and Le Fresnoy, the national studio for contemporary arts in Lille.
