Synopsis
A remote Island with a population of a hundred.
A deaf but hightly intelligent little boy.
A couple who makes a living out of the sea.
A young female teacher discontent with a plain and simple life.
How do they balance themselves between nature and surviving?
How do they solve problems for their ideals?
Or do they let the beautiful ocean swallow it all?
After my arrival on this island, I discovered a total reversal of my preconception of this place. With a population of only a hundred, I am confused by the tenacity shown by these islanders for the sea. At the same time they try to master it, they also surrender themselves to it. This made me recall my own childhood and propelled me to deliberate the perplexity of urban life.
